There’s a lot of talk these days about toxic masculinity. But what is toxic masculinity, exactly? And how is it different from healthy masculinity? This blog post will explore the differences between toxic and healthy masculinity and discuss why it matters.

Toxic masculinity is a term used to describe traditional masculine gender roles and behaviors that harm men and the people around them. This can include violence, sexism, homophobia, and emotional repression. Toxic masculinity can also lead to mental health problems like anxiety and depression.

Healthy masculinity, on the other hand, is about being comfortable with who you are and respecting the people around you. It’s about having healthy relationships with both women and men. It’s about being emotionally open and expressive. And it’s about living a life that is authentic and fulfilling.

So why does this matter? Because toxic masculinity is often celebrated in our society while healthy masculinity is often devalued. This needs to change. We must start valuing healthy masculinity and supporting men as they strive to be their best selves. Toxic masculinity is harmful to everyone. It’s time for a change.

What do you think? Do you agree that we need to value healthy masculinity more? Why or why not? Leave a comment below and let us know what you think. Thanks for reading!
